10 click-worthy, honest titles per run — with live character counts.

⚡ AI-powered · free

Free to use — fair-use limit of 15 AI runs per hour. Results are AI-generated: always review before publishing.

The HN Solutions Title Generator writes 10 strong titles per run for blog posts, YouTube videos, products or email subjects — click-worthy without the clickbait, and each shown with its character count so you know it fits Google (under ~60) or YouTube (under ~70). Free and unlimited within fair use.

How to use the title generator

  1. Type your topic — add the angle if you have one (“for beginners”, “vs alternatives”).
  2. Pick the title type: each platform has its own winning style.
  3. Generate, compare the 10 options, and copy the best one — or run again for 10 more.

Frequently asked questions

What makes a good blog title?

Specific promise + keyword near the front + under 60 characters so Google shows it fully. The generator is tuned for exactly that; check the final pick in our meta tag generator preview.

Are the titles SEO-friendly?

Yes — they are written to balance click appeal with honesty and keyword clarity, not pure curiosity-gap clickbait that Google increasingly demotes.

Can I use it for YouTube?

Yes — YouTube mode writes punchier, curiosity-forward titles that still deliver, with the ~70 character display limit in mind.

How many times can I run it?

15 runs per hour free — that is 150 titles an hour if you need them.

Write the article with the AI writer, keep density healthy with the density checker, and find topic ideas with the keyword research tool.

What makes a headline get clicked

Specificity beats cleverness almost every time. “How we cut load time to 1.2s” outperforms “Speed up your website today”, because the first one promises a number and the second promises nothing.

The patterns that reliably work share one property — the reader can tell exactly what they get:

  • Number + noun + outcome — “8 automations that cut an hour a week”
  • The honest comparison — “n8n vs Zapier: what each actually costs”
  • The correction — “Why keyword density does not work the way you think”
  • The plain how-to — unfashionable, and still one of the highest-intent formats there is

Length: 50 to 60 characters

Google truncates around 60 characters on desktop, less on mobile. A headline that runs past it loses its ending, and the ending is usually where the promise sits.

That does not mean your on-page H1 must be short — it can be longer and more descriptive. It means the SEO title should fit. Those can be different, and on this site they often are. The meta tag generator shows you the length as you type.

Front-load the words that matter

People scan the first two or three words of a result and decide. So does a truncation algorithm. “Free Online Image Compressor” survives being cut; “The Ultimate Guide to Compressing Images Online for Free” becomes “The Ultimate Guide to Compressing Images Onl…”

Put the subject first, the qualifier second, and the flourish last if at all.

Where clickbait actually costs you

A headline that overpromises earns the click and loses the visit. Google measures whether people come straight back to the results, and a page that consistently disappoints does not hold a ranking for long.

The practical test: if the headline says “the only guide you need”, is it? If it says “10 ways”, are there ten, and are they distinct? Deliver exactly what the headline promised and nothing is at risk.

Generate several, then choose

The value of a generator is not that it writes your headline. It is that it breaks you out of the first phrasing you thought of, which is rarely the best one.

Produce a batch, delete anything vague, and keep the two or three that make a specific promise. Then edit the winner by hand — a generated headline is a starting point, and the last 10% is judgement about your own piece.

Once you have it, the text to slug tool turns it into a clean URL, and the keyword research tool helps check you are aiming at something people actually search for.
