Convert HEIC to JPG free, directly in your browser — no software install, no upload to sketchy servers. iPhones shoot HEIC by default; half the world's apps, portals and Windows PCs still want JPG.
Why convert
Apple adopted HEIC because it stores photos at half the size of JPG — but send one to a Windows user, a government portal or an older app and it simply will not open. Converting to JPG makes iPhone photos universally usable. Our converter decodes HEIC locally with a privacy-safe library, then re-encodes to JPG at your chosen quality — your photos never leave the device, which matters given how personal camera-roll photos are.
How it works
- Drop your images (or click to browse / paste with Ctrl+V) — batch conversion supported.
- Adjust quality if you like — 92% is visually lossless for most photos.
- Download each file or grab them all with one click. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my iPhone save HEIC?
It halves storage use at the same quality. You can also make the camera shoot JPG: Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible.
Is quality lost converting to JPG?
At the default 92% quality the difference is invisible. You can push the slider to 100% for archival copies.
Are my photos private?
Completely — HEIC decoding and JPG encoding both happen in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, unlike most “free HEIC converter” sites.
Can I convert several at once?
Yes — drop your whole batch; the first file loads the decoder (a second or two), the rest fly.
